IMK at SBC Summit Lisbon 2026: Where valuable connections meet the future of iGaming
Another remarkable edition of SBC Summit Lisbon is now part of the industry’s history – and, as every year, the IMK team was there to be part of it. Three days of conversations, new perspectives and a close look at where our industry is heading.
Now in its third consecutive year in the Portuguese capital, the summit brought together 40,000+ international attendees from over 150 countries. The event combined a major exhibition and conference programme with speakers, networking and a week of events across the city. Hundreds of companies used one of the industry’s largest exhibition floors to showcase new products, platforms and technologies.
For a content distribution business, the themes were familiar and worth hearing in person: how operators are thinking about their game libraries, where player engagement is heading, and how technology is reshaping the way content reaches the lobby. IMK has been part of this event year after year – and the reasons we return remain the same. To understand what is changing in the market before it reaches us. To see what the industry’s leading studios and platforms are building. And, above all, to spend time with the people we work with.
Our sales, commercial and account management teams spent the three days meeting partners from across the industry – some long-standing, some new faces, and some conversations that will take shape over the coming months. Much of what matters in this business still happens face to face, across a table, in a few unhurried minutes between sessions. It is also where ideas get tested. Hearing directly from operators about the content they need, the markets they are entering and the challenges they are working through is worth more than any report.
SBC has since confirmed Lisbon as the host city of its flagship summit through 2030 – so this particular meeting point in the industry calendar is here to stay.
